While people outside the area may not think so, Detroit is a great place to spend time enjoying both the historic and new that the city has to offer. You can live in the area all your life and never visit all the amazing sights and experiences this storied city has to offer. The origin of the city dates back to 1701 and rose to great importance during the industrial revolution and has had a lot of cultural influence throughout the decades, especially in music.

The Renaissance Center

Now home to GM's world headquarters, the RenCen is a city within a city, housing many businesses, restaurants and the central tower is the third tallest hotel skyscraper in the western hemisphere. Along with all the public space inside the complex it is home to over 10,000 employees, the majority being GM. During a $500 million renovation they added The Wintergarden with panoramic views of Windsor and the river.

This beautiful and historic 982-acre island is a park on the Detroit River that is larger than Central Park in New York City and is home to an Aquarium, Conservatory, Nature Center, and even a municipal golf course. It is also home to auto racing, concerts, the Detroit Boat Club, the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, along with a half mile swimming beach, and Coast Guard Station. As well as a number of monuments and other attractions.

This is truly a classy, fun, and cool night club. Even though the cover itself is a bit high, it's still one of the coolest clubs in the Detroit area. It's also elegant, fun, and the drinks never and I mean never run out, so yeah, I love it!!


514 Monroe St, Detroit, MI 48226

This is the absolute and I mean absolute best place in Detroit, when it comes to enjoying chicken and ribs. The chicken tender pita is my favorite because it's so yummy!! Drinks where priced okay, but yeah come hungry when you come here for Chicken and ribs!!


234 West Larned Street, Detroit, MI 48226

This place has a lot of big screen tv's in it as well as lots of great people, and just an all in all great atmosphere. The drinks are really potent too and it seems like no matter what the party never stops. It's fun, it's energetic, it's just a cool place to be.

I know that many people love Fishbones in the D for its atmosphere, but I honestly love it for its sushi. The sweet shrimp roll, the yellow tail roll, and the red snapper roll are my favorites. Yeah, it's always a good time with this place.

This place is fun fun fun!!! It's also got great food, like catfish tenders, and lamb chops, both of which are super super yum. The drinks are good too, but yeah I just love how much fun this place is!!!


612 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48226

I really love the atmosphere and the coconut shrimp is really tasty too. It's a great place to go when you want to unwind, relax, and enjoy yourself after a hard day at the office or on the job. So yeah, I love it, I really do love it here, and would recommend it to anyone who is thirsty and hungry.
